Chapter 70: We Shall Find a way to get Her Back!
(Karlena’s POV)
Though our wife was kidnapped, we still have to be adults. At the very least, Tesslia is being held captive by Blair. There are so many people in this world who would easily treat Tesslia badly. Blair isn’t one of them.
Blair has championed many great talents for years. After what we’ve learned, only we are aware that she actually kidnapped those talented women. Besides holding them captive, she treats them very well. And with what Tesslia has told us, she is being treated perfectly, just like the other women.
Karlena: “Has Blair responded to us yet?” I ask with an impatient tone.
Risa: “Dear daughter of mine, you need to be patient.” She replied.
Karlena: “How can you be patient when some random woman has our wife?” I pout out.
Risa: “Because I respect Blair, and know that she will not hurt or upset Tesslia in the slightest. Luckily, though she damaged your estate and injured your maids, we can solve this problem with diplomacy.” She answered.
Karlena: “…”
Tesslia had mentioned how… for a long period of time in her world, conflicts were solved with extreme violence. But our kind doesn’t really resort to such tactics. We injure each other, sure. But those wounds are pointless and don’t even hurt. What Blair did, though, was horrible. Using rounds specifically made to maim and injure our kind for a prolonged period…
Risa: “Of course, she must compensate us for Tesslia’s kidnap, the damage to the estate, and the maids that were injured during that whole kidnapping event.” She added with a serious tone.
Karlena: “How can we do any diplomacy… if she doesn’t answer our damn calls?” I ask.
Risa: “Like with us, Blair is very likely to be busy. It’s not like that we’ve neglected our jobs because Tesslia was kidnapped.” She replied with a shrug.
Karlena: “…We only did our work, as Tesslia would scold us if we had left our jobs and duties be neglected.” I say with another pout.
Risa: “Regardless, we must wait for her to contact us back. Rushing onto her planet would just cause far too many problems for us.” She replied.
Karlena: “Many problems? I am sure that we can easily deal with anything they throw at us!” I exclaim.
Risa: “Oh, I am confident that we could as well. But I want Blair to be in the wrong in this matter. If Rosey cannot take control over her empire again, we will have good blackmail on Blair in the end.” She explained with a stern tone.
Again… it’s not like our only option is diplomacy. Rather, it is the best option to go for. Tesslia is… very petty when it comes to things like this. In her mind, she might even scoff at us if we don’t give her the best benefits out of this whole thing. That being said…
Karlena: “Can you please release my restraints?” I ask with a pitiful tone.
Risa: “No.” She quickly denied.
Karlena: “Why not!?” I yell with a great, pouty tone.
Risa: “Please remind me who it was that boarded our most expensive space ship, and tried to leave earth to go find Tesslia?” She said with a deadpan tone and expression.
Karlena: “…”
Risa: “Not to mention, but that was before you knew where she was! We were just lucky that Seehia managed to stop the ship before it could leave. No, Karlena. You’re to stay here until Tesslia gets back.” She said with a stern and scolding tone.
Dammit… How will Tesslia think of me if she ever finds out about this? While she was trapped on a planet millions of light-years away, I was chained to my room. Mother is even filming this, and plans to show it to Tesslia when she gets back. Momma, please don’t ruin my pride and regal image in front of my wife, I beg of you!!!
