Chapter 1362: Star Beast Pack In the Chaotic Void Streams

It happened so suddenly that Shang Xia didn’t feel any sign of it happening before it actually did. He didn’t think that the Star Beast would be so terrifying when it appeared, destroying the layer of protection around the fleet and destroying the layer of structures above the deck of the fourth ship. However, the Star Beast didn’t seem to be having a good time either.

There should be at least 1 True Immortal on board every Star Shp, and even if there wasn’t, they would possess the combat strength of one.

The Star Beast that appeared was attacked on all sides by the experts of the ship, and it was already riddled with injuries. Gong Zhuo could think about the complications, and it was definitely no problem for Zhang Shun or Shang Xia. From the time everything began, Gong Zhuo didn’t receive any instruction from the director at all. Since things had evolved to such a state, he was pretty sure the director did the same thing as Shang Xia and went after the Star Beast.

Before Shang Xia left, he left Gong Zhuo with a specific voice transmission. It was a warning and once he expanded his divine soul, he roared, “Everyone, prepare for battle! Enemy attack!”

A formless spatial fluctuation appeared at the side and crashed into the protection barrier around the fleet.

At almost the exact same time, the protection barrier around the fleet strengthened. The void in front of the fleet, along with the void at the top and bottom, tipped open suddenly. 2 massive Star Beasts that were comparable to the first appeared at the top and bottom of the fleet. Another, which was even stronger than the others, stood in their way.

They launched an attack on their fleet in unison.

With the combined might of all 3 of them, the protection barrier contorted despite being strengthened by Gong Zhuo and the other True Immortals of the Wanyun Association. The barrier was so strained that their situation started to look a little bleak.

Gong Zhuo rose from the Star Ship in the lead and held a special divine weapon with many joints. He turned into a stream of light and rushed at the strongest Star Beast blocking their path.

With his counterattack, the experts on the other ships also rushed into action. They charged at the Star Beasts that surrounded them.

At the same time, the Star Ships behind quickly closed in on them and formed a strong battle formation.

A loud blast followed along a horrifying scream that seemed to have the ability to tear one’s soul into shreds. Gong Zhuo, who was holding his divine weapon, was flung back rapidly. Once the Star Beast was killed, the rod that stabbed through the Star Beast shrank until it could be seen in the hand of a figure that appeared in the void not too far away.

True Immortal Shang?!

Gong Zhuo’s eyes widened in shock at Shang Xia’s combat strength.

Even though in the eyes of many True Immortals in the Wanyun Association’s fleet, Shang Xia merely made use of the opportunity presented by Gong Zhuo to kill the beast, but they weren’t high-level True Immortals! They couldn’t see what Gong Zhuo could.

Gong Zhuo could tell how powerful that strike was. If he was in Shang Xia’s place, he knew there was no way he could have killed the beast even if someone injured it beforehand.

He fought with Shang Xia in the past, and they understood the extent of each other’s strength.

Like fish that had been thrown onto shore, it started to flounder and struggle. With the might of the Wanyun Association’s fleet aimed at it, it was eventually dealt with.

The Star Beast that was comparable to a third tier True Immortal, could challenge high-level True Immortals because of its powerful physique. Even so, it was taken alive by the fleet.

Only then did Shang Xia reappear on the deck of the first Star Ship. He stared at the struggling Star Beast that was captured alive by the fleet.

At the same time, the light barrier around the fleet reappeared, as Zhang Shun returned with a strangely shaped token in hand. He tossed it on the deck and Shang Xia made out what it was.

“This...” Shang Xia looked at the human-shaped creature that was thrown onto the deck and looked at Zhang Shun.

Unlike him, Gong Zhuo’s expression changed slightly and he muttered, “Director, is this...”
