Hey guys! I decided to add an alternate story to the main story.

What if Great Grandpa Ryan became a butcher instead of a gold miner?

I want to add this because it would add the struggles our protag lacks.

It sounds like a fun side project, and it would show how much of a villain Ryan could have become if he had chosen differently...

And perhaps add an antagonist for the main novel...
