CHAPTER 20 : Feder
Blue walked through the dimly lit corridors of the Feder organization, his footsteps echoing faintly against the metal walls. As he moved forward, lost in his thoughts, a sudden impact on the back of his head startled him.
He turned to see Dorothy standing there, a mischievous grin on her face. They both chuckled, the tension momentarily broken.
"Is Blue really your name?" Dorothy asked, her voice carrying a playful tone.
Blue nodded, a faint smile playing on his lips. "Yes, it is."
But as they continued walking, Dorothy's voice seemed to shift, taking on a deeper, unfamiliar tone. Blue's surroundings blurred, and he felt a disorienting sensation wash over him.
"You sure have grown, Blue," the voice said, now sounding distinctly masculine. "But is this really who you are?"
Blue's mind raced, struggling to make sense of the sudden change. Images flickered in his mind, memories both real and imagined swirling together in a confusing haze.
Then, as quickly as it had come, the disorientation faded. Blue found himself standing in front of Dorothy, who was looking at him with concern.
"What's wrong?" she asked, her smile faltering slightly. "Let's go."
Blue's expression remained blank, his thoughts clouded by the strange experience. With a nod, he followed Dorothy down the corridor, the weight of uncertainty pressing upon him.
