Naruto: The Template System

After the Ninja Assessment, the name of Kozuki and Kakashi spread throughout the village.

Everyone knew the village had two more geniuses.

Kozuki wasn't worried of getting the attention of two old foxes since his talent in Ninjutsu was bad enough for them to ignore him.

In a forest southwest to the village.

The sun shone softly on the woods and from time to time wind blew up bringing pieces of leaves.

Boom! Boom!

There were waves of collisions.

Kozuki was standing in front of two-person high boulder swinging his great sword at the boulder.

There were deep marks on the boulder everywhere but he couldn't cut the boulder in half like those Swordsman in pirate world.

According to Kozuki, Swordsmanship had four levels.

The first was just the physical attack with the sword and Kozuki categorized himself in this stage.

The second was the sword force strong enough to compress air pressure capable of causing long range attacks.

The third was to be able to imbue Haki on the sword and the strongest attack in this stage could even split a mountain. (see Zoro vs pika for reference).

The last stage was the great swordsman the likes of Hawkeye or Shanks who could cut mountains with every attack or destroying Islands easily.

"It's still a long way to go" thought Kozuki as he started swinging the sword again on the boulder.

"I finally found you" Kozuki heard a voice behind and saw it was Kakashi.

Since the day of Assessment, Kakashi would find him for a fight nearly everyday but Kozuki conned him every time, but Kakashi never gave up.

"You won't give up, so let's fight and get over with it" said Kozuki helplessly looking towards Kakashi sighed why can't he train quietly

"Today I'll prove it that I'm the strongest among my peers" said Kakashi coldly as he put on a fighting stance.

Swish! Swish!

But, suddenly both of them heard faint sound of footsteps as they looked towards it's direction.

Usually, the place where Kozuki trains, there are hardly any people coming So, Kozuki immediately took out his sword and became vigilant.

Although he doesn't know the other party but listening to the movement he could guess that the person was moving towards this side.

"Be careful Kakashi, it might be an enemy" said Kozuki reminding Kakashi since these were turbulent times and spy's in another village wasn't particularly a rare thing.

Suddenly, a cold light flashed as person jumped out from behind a tree arriving in front of Kakashi quickly his sword moving towards his neck.

"Damn!" cursed Kakashi as he was caught totally unprepared by the enemy's speed.

Clang!

Bringing the Kunai in front of him with difficulty Kakashi managed to block the attack but the enemy without giving a chance to breathe to Kakashi, turned in the air kicking him on the chest.

Kakashi flew back 7 or 8 meters hitting the tree as he vomited a mouthful of blood.

This all happened in seconds without giving Kozuki a chance to Aid Kakashi.

"Are you all right Kakashi" asked Kozuki worriedly arriving by Kakashi's side.

"It's just a slight injury" said Kakashi with some difficulty as Kozuki breathed a sigh of relief.

"You are injured so don't move anymore, I'll deal with him" said Kozuki to Kakashi who wanted to stand and fight the enemy.

After checking Kakashi's condition, Kozuki turned to look at the enemy.

Under the evening sun, the appearance of the enemy could be clearly seen. Although the other party wears Konoha headband his facial feature doesn't match with those in the Land of Fire.

With a weather-beaten face and the peculiar redness that's only on those living near the sea he could guess his Origin.

"Are you from Kirigakure" asked Kozuki solemnly as he fully released his Haki concentrating on the opponent.

"Sharp Brat! you guessed it right" said the spy as he pointed his sword towards Kozuki and continued saying "But sadly there's no reward for it and Only Death".

Hiroyasu Sato a Perception type Chunin from Kirigakure, after exhausting a lot of energy, he finally managed to infiltrate the Land of Fire but as soon as he let his guard down he was spotted by two little children.

He couldn't let these children leave alive as they might report after going back alerting the village.

"This place is quite close to the village I need to end this quickly" thought Sato since he knew that Konoha Anbu would check the surroundings of the village around this time.

Kozuki looked towards the enemy as his grip on his sword tightened and he had some anticipation in his heart.

Kozuki wasn't afraid of the other party since he knew in this dangerous world he had to face such situations at some time, and he was looking forward to how strong he was at his full strength.

"Come on" Shouted Kozuki to Sato excitedly.

"Arrogant kid" Snorted Sato in disdain as he quickly disappeared and was already in front of Kozuki his sword slashing at his neck.

Clang! Clang!

A metal colliding sound sounded in the surrounding as Kozuki firmly blocked his attack with his swords.

Klang! Klang! Klang!

Sword clashing sounds spread as Kozuki kept Slashing at Sato who blocked them with some difficulty.

"Damn! kid" cursed Sato as he didn't expect Kozuki to be so tough to defeat.

After blocking another slash of Kozuki, he separated from him, about ten meters away.

"You have some ability kid" said Sato praising Kozuki "But it's time to end this".

"Water style! Water Bullets".

Sato made seals as numerous water bullets sprouting from his mouth moved towards Kozuki.

Looking at the upcoming attack, Kozuki wasn't afraid as he moved forward and closed his eyes.

"Ha-ha! go to death" said Sato laughing as he saw Kozuki closing his eyes like giving up.

But his laughter stopped abruptly as he saw Kozuki moving around gracefully avoiding the bullets easily.

"Damn! It's your lucky day kid" said Sato unwilling as he couldn't afford to waste time since Konoha Anbu might be here any minute.

But as Sato turned around and wanted to retreat he heard a sound behind him making him horrified.

"It isn't so easy to go" Sato tried to look back but all he saw was a glimpse of sword moving towards his head.

Puff...

Blood splashed on the ground as the sword divided Sato into two from top to bottom.

"Hah... this was exciting" said Kozuki as he sat down on the ground his heart still beating fast from the thrilling battle.

After a few minutes Kozuki's mood calmed down, as he looked towards the neatly divided Sato.

Kozuki didn't have any nausea after killing, since he knew kindness in this dangerous world would only bring his own death.

"Let's go Kakashi" said Kozuki to the stunned Kakashi who couldn't believe he was so strong.

Kakashi left with him a bit absent-minded as Kozuki escorted him towards the hospital.

Around 15 minutes after Kozuki left, a few Shadows flashed as five to six figures wearing masks arrived.

"He's likely from Kirigakure and looking at the wound he was probably killed by a Sharp weapon most likely a sword and with a single strike" said the Anbu who squatted besides the divided Sato analyzing the situation.

After checking the area around for any useful information, they left with his corpse.

Konoha Hospital.

"I hope you keep this matter a secret" said Kozuki to Kakashi who lay on the hospital bed as he didn't want to expose his strength.

Though, confused, as to why Kozuki would hide it but he agreed nonetheless as Kozuki left the ward, leaving Kakashi thinking of his performance in the battle earlier and Kozuki's strength clearly far higher then his own.

"I'll defeat you one day" Kakashi was worthy of a genius as this setback made him even more determined.

Hokage Office.

"Try your best to investigate who did it" said Sarutobi to the Anbu who reported of the situation earlier.

"Yes the Anbu nodded as he flashed away.

"Who could it be" thought Sarutobi thinking of the person who killed Kirigakure's spy smoking heavily.

Kozuki didn't knew that the Hokage was looking for the killer as after returning home and reviewing on the battle earlier, he took a bath and after eating dinner he fell sleep since he was tired of the battle earlier.
