"Have fun in that school festival, okay?" Long Shan rubbed his daughter's head and kissed Xiaojun's forehead. He looked at Xiaojun a little bit longer and smiled, "Moon Rabbit, thank you."

Feng Xiaojun lowered his head and pulled Long Liling into the car, "D—Don't mention it, I've been way too busy in the office after all. A little bit of fun will not hurt." 

"Bye, Dad," Liling sat beside Xiaojun, and they were off to the school. Liling glanced at her new mom/dad, Xiaojun, who was dazed while staring at Long Shan, who was still standing at the gate, waving his hand like a dad who was sending his children off to some war or something. Liling sighed patted his shoulder, "Handsome brother, why are you dazed? Is something wrong?"

Feng Xiaojun shook his head and smiled thin, "It's just… I don't know how to handle your father. He is very…"

"Sticky, nosy, and feels like he is too much?" Liling asked. 

"Kind of," Xiaojun nodded. 

Liling sighed and leaned on the seat, "Handsome brother, maybe it feels a bit too much for someone like you, who have been raised in an elite house, like a young master. But my dad has been raised by grandpa as a warrior."

"My dad has been hardened with gang war that often happened during my grandpa's reign. He was probably ten times stronger than me and could definitely crush someone into pulp with one hand. He led so many gang wars and sometimes a shootout with the police when he was young because grandpa wants him to be a coldhearted leader for Long family, just like all his predecessors."

"But that didn't work out for grandpa. Turns out, dad has a very mellow heart. He loves poetry, carving, taking care of his bonsai trees and flowers…" Liling giggled. "Even I don't have that kind of sweet hobby."

"Well, Dad is indeed extremely strong and ruthless to his enemy, but that was in the past. After Dad take control over the Long Family, he tried to abandon all the bloodshed that my grandpa had. He also tried to make the Long Family business to be legal, as we are mostly renting land and apartment nowadays." 

Long Liling looked at Feng Xiaojun with a smile on her face, "His affection might feel a bit too much for a young master like you, but that's because he has been built as a warrior in the past. The Long Family will always prioritize someone whom they treasured greatly. That's just his way to show that he cared for you so much."

"That being said, I don't care whether you will like him back or not," Liling giggled. "I'm just happy that you can spend time with me. I've been dying to go to the school festival, but Dad is just too much!" 

"Too much?" Xiaojun started imagining what kind of too much Long Shan would show in front of the people in a school festival. The only thing he imagined was Long Shan glaring at boys who dared to approach her daughter. 

"I think you got it already," Liling said. "He will stand tall and glared at every boy who tried to approach me. Then he will continue to pester me even at home, asking whether I have a boyfriend or not, whether that boyfriend has a good background, whether that boyfriend is doing good in school."

"Yeah, he can be too much sometimes," Liling said. "His nosy behavior is the thing I hate the most about him. But I can't help to also adore that trait from him because it's a reminder. Although my mom is a bitch who cheats around with so many men, at least my dad loves me so much."

Feng Xiaojun learned few things from Liling. When he was with Long Shan, he felt suffocated with Long Shan's affection. Turned out that was just how he showed his affection. 

Though, it was still uncomfortable for Xiaojun, who was used to hide everything deep in his heart. He wouldn't even say to his parents back in the day that he liked certain movies, or certain games, because if it didn't contribute to his study, then his parents would never allow him to buy it. 

That's why Xiaojun was let loose in his BL hobby after he was officially an adult. 

But he still kept most of his secret deep inside his heart, only letting certain people know.

For him to face someone like Long Shan, who expressed his love, his affection, and his interest so boldly, as clear as day, it was like a mental shock for him. 

'I wish I have a great courage like Long Shan, to defy the path that his father had set for him, and change it to be better…' 

The car stopped in front of a big gate, where there were also many cars parked in the parking lot. "Handsome brother, we are here!" Long Liling said she pointed at her school gate. 

Feng Xiaojun looked to the window where Liling pointed her finger at, and his jaw dropped. 

"Liling… you never said that you are studying in the most prestigious high school in the city." 

"Huh? What's that surprise for? My dad just wants me to study hard, so he sends me here," Liling frowned. It was quite weird for Feng Xiaojun to be surprised with such a thing. Since he was the CEO of Feng Group and obviously grew up with a silver spoon.

"No, not that…" Xiaojun kept on staring at the school gate. "This was also my high school back then…"

'With Jiang Jinxing…' Xiaojun said in his heart. As he kept staring at the gate, he started to get an ominous feeling. 

'What is this bad feeling? Will I meet someone here?'

'Let's just hope Jinxing is not here. That would be difficult to explain.'
