Lord of Flames

The Dwarven Queen had been waiting near the lava lake for a long time now. However, she had not seen the ball of flames come up.

"My Queen, when will the God’s Flames return? Why don’t we leave first?" A female Dwarf worryingly said.

The Dwarven Queen shook her head and continued to wait at that spot.

Just like this, she continued waiting by the lake for an entire week. Despite her efforts, the flame didn’t show any signs of returning.

"My Queen, how about we leave first?"

That female Dwarf who was with the Dwarven Queen came to ask her again.

The Dwarven Queen responded, "I’ll wait a bit longer."

"I understand."

The Dwarven Queen's current state of mind was difficult to comprehend.

Time passed by and she held on, patiently anticipating the Flame’s arrival.

The temperature in this area was extremely high, the air was also hot, and quite a few poisonous gases were floating around.

However, the Dwarven Queen probably knew a bit of magic that could isolate the poisonous gas.

If a person lived underground for a long time, they would have already adapted to the environment anyway.

Since the Dwarven Queen insisted on doing this, the other dwarves couldn’t just leave her be.

Every day, the Dwarven Queen would have a meal in the Lava City. After resting for two or three hours, she would continue to stay by the lava lake.

The other dwarves could only take turns in protecting her by patrolling around the place

"The Queen is truly persistent," a female Dwarf voiced out her thoughts.

"That's right. The powerful Gods don't care about the beliefs of one or two tribes after all. They’re even less willing to waste their Divine Power in communicating with mortals. If this is the flame of a powerful God, then the Queen wouldn't be able to do anything other than try to have her sincerity touch it," another female Dwarf spoke.

"It would be great if this God was willing to help the Queen. Soon, the eight Dwarven tribes will be meeting at Greycastle. If the Queen can forge the most powerful weapon, she might be able to reunite the eight Dwarven tribes into the Iron Castle Kingdom!" One of the other female dwarves couldn’t help but reveal a trace of longing.

In front of them, the Dwarven Queen was still standing beside the lava lake. She looked at the fiery water and silently persevered.

She was indeed really persistent.

That little loli's face was filled with determination.

The sun and moon continued moving outside, and in the blink of an eye, another seven days had passed.

The Dwarven Queen had been waiting here for almost half a month now. And yet, the lava lake remained the same.

The only living being who lived here in the past was the Lava Giant.

But now that the Lava Giant was turned to ashes by Lin Yan, there was no one else inhabiting the area.

At the very start, just the fact that the lava lake was able to give birth to a Lava Giant was already considered quite good.

However, now that it died, this turned back to an ordinary lava lake.

Only the bubbling magma resided in the lake.

"My Queen, you've already been waiting for half a month. The God’s flames must have left! Let's go back!" One of the female dwarves advised her.

The Dwarven Queen shook her head. "No, I’ll wait."

After seeing that she was still persistent, the female Dwarf couldn't help but shake her head and sigh.

In her eyes, the God’s flames had long disappeared.

The Queen was merely wasting her time here.

She wasn’t the only one who had these thoughts as the other Dwarves all had the same notion.

However, if the Queen was willing to wait here, there was nothing they could do.

In the blink of an eye, another week had passed. The Dwarven Queen had been waiting there for more than twenty days now!

Despite her efforts, there was no sign of movement in the lava lake.

Not only did the female Dwarves come to advise her, but the Dwarven Queen's other subordinates also tried changing her mind.

No matter what they said, the Dwarven Queen remained unmoved.

She insisted on waiting!

Finally, another week passed. The Dwarven Queen had been waiting by the lava lake for a full month!

Judging from her expression, she seemed to be prepared in leaving.

The female Dwarves couldn't bear to watch anymore. All of them prepared to drag the Dwarven Queen away from this area if she insisted any further.

Boom!

All of a sudden, a ball of flames suddenly appeared within the lava lake!

The appearance of this flame caused the surrounding dwarves to freeze!

"It came out!" The female Dwarves were shocked. The appearance of the flame completely exceeded their expectations!

The Dwarven Queen's face, which was filled with determination, suddenly burst into a brilliant smile.

Then, she slowly bowed down.
