Chapter 10 Christmas Gift
Aphra stayed in a guest room in Malfoy Manor, just a few meters away from Draco's room.
On Christmas morning, Aphra was sleeping in a daze when she was suddenly awakened by the sound of anxious footsteps.
The door was pushed open with great force, making a "bang" sound.
Avro opened her eyes in confusion and saw a... light golden one? Grove?
Her eyes widened in horror, and the remaining strands of sleep completely disappeared.
Draco stood in front of her with an annoyed look on his face, still wearing silk pajamas, his cheeks turned red and he looked like he was about to lose his temper.
The most eye-catching thing is his hair. The hair that was always carefully taken care of with hair wax now stands firmly on end.
One by one, they all stood up, just like a bush.
He was on the verge of tears and stamped his feet anxiously, his voice filled with a hint of irritation and anger, "Greengrass! What kind of friends have you made!"
"Ah?" Avro was confused. She lifted the quilt and pressed the corners of her mouth again and again, but she still couldn't help but curl up.
"Don't laugh!"
Aphra got out of bed barefoot, and her clothes were a little thin. Draco kicked her slippers away angrily, and Avro put on her slippers.
"It's one of your Christmas gifts. I saw one without a signature and very beautifully packaged. When I opened it, I saw it was a box of chocolates, so..."
His voice grew quieter.
Avro raised an eyebrow and poked his hair, "So you ate it secretly?"
"What does it mean to eat secretly... Haven't I been given all your gifts over the years?" Draco turned away and reached out to knock her hand off, preventing her from touching his ridiculous hair.
"Well... I probably know who sent it, don't be angry, I also gave them a gift in return." Avro stared at Draco's hair with interest again, the amusement in her eyes obvious.
"Please sort this out for me," he muttered.
Avro rolled her eyes, "How can I know that? I'm just a student who has only been in school for a few months."
She joked again, "If your Christmas gift to me is that I am lucky enough to see this, I think this Christmas will be happier than any other one before."
"I..." Draco was about to cry, so he pulled her and started to walk out, "Let's go quickly before my father sees me."
"Okay, okay, okay, I'll find a way for you." Avro let him pull her, "I want to wash up first."
"Is your matter more important than mine?" He collapsed a little.
"Well... all the big things are not important to me." Avro smiled slyly and walked into the bathroom.
"Dobby." Draco said with slight disgust.
"Little master...do you have any orders?" A house elf appeared. It glanced at Draco and immediately lowered its head.
"...Mom and dad are up?"
"Master and Madam are not up yet."
"You go prepare breakfast first, and call us down when they get up."
"Yes."
Draco hummed twice, and as he stepped forward, his hair trembled, like grass dancing in the wind, or autumn grass.
He leaned against the door, "I have wanted to change this house elf in our house for a long time, but I can't find the reason. I think it is too useless and makes a lot of fuss."
"House elves are more useful than you think." Avro blinked, and her Mia always took her out to play and buy books, secretly. The magic of house elves is different from that of wizards, but it should not be underestimated. .
"Okay, let's go to your room."
……
Draco's room was always luxurious. The large round bed was extremely soft, and the carpet was covered with two layers. It was soft and thick when you stepped on it.
In the corner, there is a pile of gifts.
"It's yours, and it's mine." Draco pulled her to sit on the bed, "Hurry up and let me do it."
Avro coughed twice, what magic spell should I use? Although she has learned a lot from her father, she seems to have never learned what to do in this situation.
Is it possible to recover as before? Clean up? Stop the curse immediately?
Draco saw Avro shaking her wand and saying several spells in one go. He was skeptical, "Can you do it?"
Half a minute passed, and Avro stared at the mass on his head, lost in thought.
Just when Draco was about to complain, he felt that the top of his head had become soft and smooth. He picked up the mirror and saw that his hair was smooth and shiny on his scalp.
"Successful!" Draco said in surprise.
Avro ran her fingers through his hair, "It's great that you don't need hair wax. Don't use it in the future. It will damage your hair."
He turned away and coughed, "Go and open the gift."
"Let's go together." Avro put away her wand, and the two of them sat among the gifts.
A box of chocolates was scattered on the ground. Aphra picked it up slowly and put it away. "For Avro" was written on it.
"Just throw that chocolate away later, I'll be annoyed when I see it... What kind of friends have you made?" He muttered, then pointed at a pile of books, "Who gave this to you? Derek Diggory? Who? Your new friend again?"
Aphra struggled to move the book in front of her, and Draco narrowed his eyes. She smiled and said, "Friends."
"Such a boring gift, these books are all second-hand." Draco pointed to the corner of the book. In fact, it was only a little worn, but the whole thing was new.
Avro opened the books and took a look. They were all textbooks with notes. She asked Cedric specifically for them, but she didn't expect him to sort them out so early.
"Which college are you from?" Draco pressed again.
"Forgot." Avro said perfunctorily.
"What kind of friends are you hiding and hiding? Can't you get rid of them?"
"Your tone is too sinister," Avro said dryly, "Just keep reading, No, I gave this to you." She happened to turn over the gift she had given and threw it to Draco.
Draco took the gift and forgot to ask, "Huh? This is the one I wanted most before? Isn't it sold out? Where did you get it?"
"Bought at a high price." Avro blinked and breathed a sigh of relief.
……
After opening the gifts, the two shared some of each other's gifts, and breakfast was ready, so they went downstairs to dine with the Malfoys.
After playing at Malfoy's house for a day, Aphra returned to her home.
Upon returning home, Aphra saw her father.
Mr. Greengrass sat on the sofa, "Having fun at the Malfoy's?"
Avro stared at him for a moment and smiled, "Happy."
"As long as you are happy," Mr. Greengrass said expressionlessly, "If you are happy, just move around more - how are you doing with the spells?"
"is acceptable."
"Test tomorrow." He stood up and walked slowly towards the stairs.
"Good night, father."
"Mia, help me move all my gifts back to the room and leave them there. I'll pack them up myself." Avro ordered in a deep voice.
