He didn't use it often but it was a perfect tool to intimidate his enemies. Just a few moments later, they all stood up and took a defensive position. He could see all the hair on their bodies stood up and they gave him a deadly stare. Their aloof expression was nowhere to be seen as their animalistic nature took over signalling that there was a dangerous being standing few feets away from them.

Samuel could see most of them shivering under his aura. He slowly took a step forward, as they stepped backward. It went on for few minutes before he cornered them behind the sofa. They were not attacking probably they knew what would happen but still Luna and Titan stood tall standing in front of others. It's not they were not afraid but it was their duty as a leader to protect the others.

" I am not going to hurt you." Samuel extended his hand forward trying to touch their heads.

*growl* He could see all of their teeth which was a little scary but since they couldn't hurt him he pushed forward.

They started barking aggressively while Darius was whimpering. It was like they were facing their death but being a member of proud wolf pack Luna and Titan lunged at his hand first. Luna swallowing his whole hand while Titan grabbing his elbow.

They tried everything but they could even move his arm. It was like they were tugging and pulling at a stone, no matter how much they thrashed around Samuel kept advancing toward the center of the group.

Samuel was aiming for Darius, he looked to be more scared than anyone hunkering at the back of the pack whimpering and howling lightly. Other five wolves tried all their best but everytime they let go of his hand due to exhaustion, he would take a step forward.

Slowly but surely he was right beside the cowardest member of the pack by now, he could see Darius seemed to have given up on life as he laid there waiting for his certain death.

" It's gonna be okay. I just want to show you who is the boss of this house. If you going to barge in here, you have to understand that there is certain price that you have to pay for it." He lightly grabbed Darius head and pulled him closer to him.

He revolted and struggled whining extensively, it much be uncomfortable because his aura was strongest when one was closest to him at least that's how he perceived it. All the wolves started slashing away and trying anything they could do to protect Darius but they couldn't penetrate his shield.

They started making loud noises just to try to scare him away but by Samuel was already sitting with Darius on his lap as he played dead. Just when they thought he was dead, Samuel retracted all his aura making them stop dead in their track.

They started looking around curiously feeling the suffocating aura that was pressuring them gone without any hint.

" I told you I was not going to hurt you. Do you believe me now?" He asked softly staring at Luna. It looked like she understood what he was trying to convey.

She gently walked toward him while other wolves tried to dissuade her by growling and grunting but with just one look from her, they retreated few steps back making a narrow way for her.

Samuel patted Darius's head gently while Luna began to sniff and inspect him. Samuel didn't know if the shield also blocked the smell so he lowered it hoping that they would have got the message at this point. If they suddenly attack, he might get hurt but as long as he was not fatally injured, he could deal with them but his senses were telling him that they were not going to do it.

Finally she was able to smell his scent, she hovered around him making circles around him taking in what he was like. After a minutes she faced him poking her snout on his face. It's like she was intrigued to feel his skin so she gave him a little lick.

Even though Samuel didn't know anything about wolves, he had a sea of knowledge about their general behaviour from the Source. He knew that they liked to lick mouth, like giving him a kiss which was much more intimate that people imagine.

They would go far almost inside with their tongue, which sounded gross as he was able to smell their funky smell but he had to do it to gain their trust. It was also important to go in proper hierarchical order so that the 'alpha' wouldn't take it as a disrespect toward them.

For next few minutes, he was french kissed by the wolves in their proper order. They would take turns to recognize his smell as well as messing up his face. By the end he was covered in their saliva, surprisingly Darius also came to greet him. As he expected he was dead last.

After greeting they seemed to settled down beside him as he supported himself against the wall and all the wolves sat up beside him. Luna was the one on his lap as she enjoyed him giving her belly rubs like she was a house dog. He did try to take turns but Luna would always interrupt them and even growl to scare them away.

She was really the leader of the pack and it showed by how submissive everyone was toward her.

Maybe because she liked his gentle massages she whimpered and at the end of it howled a little. Samuel thought it was okay but suddenly all five of them started howling. It wasn't the quieter ones but a loud one even making his ear ring for some time.

" Shh...quiet down!" Samuel tried to stop them but it was too late. He could feel people approaching in his direction at bottleneck speed. Within few moment, he saw the guards break the door and entered with loaded weapons in their hands.

Samuel saw the horrified look on their faces as they watched their young master being surrounded by six large wolves. They could see his face was red because their tongues were rough leaving some impression on his face.

He didn't notice it but from their angle it looked like he was under distress! Not to mention that all the wolves surround Samuel while growling and showing their sharp teeth at them. It's like they were protecting their food!

" Young master, hold on! I will-"

" Stop it!" Samuel didn't know who fired the bullet but he was the muzzle flash. He knew it was going to get dicey but he wasn't going to let the wolves be harm over some misunderstanding!
