...

“So, this is the world of Greed Island? It certainly has a unique charm,” Mika remarked with a chuckle, gazing at the vast expanse of grassland before him.

After escaping the endless cycle of work and entering this relaxing world, his spirits soared.

“Though it would be better if there were fewer prying eyes,” he added, shaking his head slightly as he sensed gazes directed at them from all directions.

Having read the original work, Mika knew these onlookers were far from innocent.

They would select suitable prey, marking them with special Greed Island cards.

Then, once their targets acquired valuable cards, they would use other cards to swiftly close in and steal them.

“What a greedy bunch!” he muttered, casting a disapproving glance at his surroundings before turning his attention to the structure behind him.

It was a wooden house built on stilts in the middle of the wilderness, with a staircase spiraling around it.

The upper level of the house served as the players' "starting point."

There, a silver-haired young girl would guide new players, explaining the rules of the game.

Airmid emerged from the house, her footsteps echoing softly.

“So, did you figure out the rules?” Mika asked.

“Yes, I understand them perfectly,” Airmid replied, nodding slightly. She then raised her hand and softly uttered, “BOOK.”

A book materialized in her hand – the binder for collecting cards.

"BOOK" was the command to summon it.

Besides "BOOK," there was another crucial command: "GAIN."

These two commands formed the basis of all actions within the game.

“But these prying eyes are quite unnerving.”

“Indeed, I agree,” Mellie chimed in as she descended the stairs.

“You’re quick,” Mika chuckled, noticing Mellie’s swift appearance after Airmid.

“Now that everyone’s here, let’s get out of here. I’m eager to explore.”

“Let’s go!”

With that, the three of them stepped out of the wooden house’s shadow and onto the verdant grassland.

“The scenery here is quite beautiful,” Airmid remarked.

“It’s just ordinary scenery. You’re enjoying the change after escaping those tedious official duties,” Mellie teased.

While the grassland was pleasant, for Mika, Airmid, and Mellie, who hailed from Orario, it was a familiar sight, one they had grown accustomed to.

“That… is true,” Mika conceded with a sigh.

As they walked and chatted, a flash of light suddenly descended from the sky, landing before them.

Seeing their curious expressions, the man who emerged from the light realized he had encountered some newbies.

He immediately uttered the command, "BOOK."

However, before he could take any further action, he found himself suspended in mid-air.

Mika had grabbed him by the jaw, lifting him off the ground.

“Hey, what do you think you’re doing?”

Although this was Mika’s first time in this world, he was far from a complete novice.

Knowing the plot of Hunter x Hunter, he was well aware of these petty tricks.

“Mmm! Mmm! Mmm!” The man struggled in vain, unable to speak with his mouth clamped shut.

The planet’s gravity pulled at his body, increasing the strain on his neck until it felt like his head was about to be ripped off.

Seeing the man nearing his breaking point, Mika released his grip.

While the man clearly had malicious intentions, his actions weren’t deserving of death. A lesson was sufficient.

However, since the man had tried to steal their cards, Mika wouldn’t be polite.

Looking at the man gasping for air on the ground, Mika said with a smile, “Now, hand over all your cards.”

“Yes, sir!” The man trembled, recalling his brush with death, and readily complied, not daring to defy Mika’s request.

...

“Not bad. Quite wealthy. It seems this guy has robbed quite a few people,” Mika, Airmid, and Mellie chuckled as they examined the cards in their binders.

“Was this guy sent here to give us freebies?”

After taking all the man’s cards, they had quickly gathered over thirty of the one hundred designated cards they needed to collect.

In addition, they had acquired over forty other cards.

“This is too easy! We just arrived and haven’t even started searching properly, and we’ve already collected a fifth of the cards?” Mellie exclaimed with a grin.

“Hey, hey, hey, this isn't the right way. This was just a punishment for that guy.”

“From now on, we’ll collect the cards ourselves,” Mika instructed firmly.

Having just concluded a fierce battle with the mafia, he had no desire for further combat.

All he wanted was some relaxation and leisure.

“Collect them ourselves? But we also need to train. Won’t that slow down our progress?” Airmid asked.

“So what if it's slow? We’re here to relax and unwind.”

“Besides, the winner’s prize probably won’t be of much use to us, right?” Mika glanced at Gabriel.

After all, Gabriel could develop any Nen ability they desired.

With her by their side, they didn’t need any other Nen abilities, especially not a one-time wish.

“In that case, let’s enjoy our vacation to the fullest!” Mellie chimed in.

“But before that, let’s try to find Gon and Killua,” Mika added, recalling the two boys who had entered the game earlier.

...

In a rocky wasteland, Gon and Killua were diligently training.

Under the guidance of their teacher, the two-star Hunter Biscuit Krueger, they were rapidly mastering Nen techniques, integrating them into every fiber of their beings.

Thanks to their rigorous training, their progress was astounding.

Both their Nen abilities and their "Falna" base stats were improving at an incredible rate, transforming them into completely different individuals.

Although it had only been two months since they last saw them, the current Gon and Killua were worlds apart from their former selves.

---

“Excellent. You both performed admirably in today’s training.”

Biscuit Krueger smiled, extending a finger towards Gon and Killua, who sat on the ground, exhausted.

Suddenly, Gon and Killua shouted, “8!”

“Impressive. It seems you haven’t slacked off at all!” Biscuit’s smile widened.

On her fingertip, a number formed from Nen was barely visible.

As per her instructions, whenever she extended a finger, Gon and Killua had to quickly discern the number formed by her Nen and call it out.

This process had to be instantaneous, without any hesitation.

Biscuit would extend her finger and form a number at random intervals, sometimes extending it without forming a number, or even keeping her hands still for extended periods.

This exercise honed Gon and Killua's concentration and focus.

They had to maintain constant vigilance while undergoing various other training exercises.

All of this was to ingrain the use of "Ten" into their very being, enabling them to contend with powerful Nen users.

After all, in battles between Nen users, the ability to perceive the opponent's aura using "Ten" was a fundamental requirement.

Otherwise, if they encountered an invisible Nen beast, they wouldn't even know how they died.

“I’m so tired!”

“I’m exhausted!”

Gon and Killua collapsed onto the ground, their energy completely depleted, groaning in exhaustion.

To increase their strength, they had been training relentlessly, enduring excruciating pain and pushing themselves to their limits.

They did all of this to become stronger and experience the world's wonders to the fullest.

As Biscuit was about to offer words of comfort to the exhausted boys, a powerful presence suddenly emerged behind her.

“Yo! I knew I’d find you here.”

The voice arrived before its owner.

Biscuit’s expression turned grim as she looked towards the source of the voice.

“What a scary aura and presence!”

"I never expected to encounter someone this powerful here, a true warrior who has recently seen battle. This is troublesome."

Although Mika hadn't released any of his aura, his mere presence caused Biscuit's heart to pound in her chest.

It was the instinctive reaction to encountering a formidable opponent.

Despite her current appearance as a young girl, Biscuit was, in reality, a powerful martial artist over fifty years old, her body bearing the marks of countless battles.

Although she enjoyed maintaining her youthful disguise, she was undoubtedly one of the top martial artists in the Hunter x Hunter world.

Yet, even the battle-hardened Biscuit felt a surge of anxiety.

This individual was more dangerous than she was.

“Is he here for me?”

“What should I do? Fight or retreat? No, I can't retreat! I have these two children to protect!”

Thinking of Gon and Killua, Biscuit's resolve hardened.

She would fight to the death.

Just as she steeled herself, preparing to revert to her true form and unleash her full power, a cheerful voice called out from behind her.

“Mika! Airmid! Mellie!”

“Aren’t you three supposed to be busy? What are you doing here?”

Mika waved with a smile in response to Gon and Killua's greetings.

“Long time no see, Gon, Killua!”

“We were busy, but we’re finished now.”

Biscuit, seeing Mika's friendly demeanor, was taken aback.

She turned to the boys and asked slowly, “Are these your friends?”

“Yeah! Mika, Airmid, and Mellie are our good friends!” Gon replied cheerfully.

“I see…”

Biscuit relaxed, letting out a sigh of relief.

“Hello, my name is Mika. These two behind me are Airmid and Mellie. It’s a pleasure to meet you.”

“I’m Biscuit. Likewise.”

Biscuit quickly shook Mika’s outstretched hand.

“Thank you for guiding them during this time.”

“Don’t mention it. It’s my pleasure. After all, they’re my disciple’s students. It’s only fitting that I pass on my knowledge.”

“We appreciate your efforts.”

Mika and Biscuit exchanged pleasantries.

Meanwhile, seeing Gon and Killua's exhaustion, Airmid used an enhanced version of "Dia Fratel" to quickly restore their energy.

“Thank you, Airmid!”

Feeling their strength return, Gon and Killua jumped up excitedly, their bodies revitalized.

“You’re welcome. Seeing you grow stronger is the best reward for us."

"After all, we're companions!"

Treating Familia members like family was a rule established by Mika.

Both Airmid and Mellie adhered to this rule faithfully.

...

The reunion between Mika's group and Gon and Killua didn't last long.

The boys were currently undergoing intense training with Biscuit, an ideal teacher for them. Mika and his companions didn't want to interrupt their progress.

Their purpose was to meet them and register their names in their spell books.

In this game, there were many cards that weren't part of the designated list.

These cards possessed various abilities.

For example, the "Accompany" card allowed players to travel to a specified location with all nearby allies.

There were several cards with similar effects in the game.

However, many of them required specific targets.

By meeting Gon and Killua, Mika and his companions could now use these cards to communicate, regroup, and travel together.

Having accomplished their objective, Mika, Airmid, and Mellie departed.

After all, they had their own journey and training to focus on.

Mika was nearing the peak of Level 3.

All his stats had surpassed the S-rank limit, reaching the SS-rank domain.

Therefore, he was on the verge of a Advancement.

However, with ample time at his disposal, Mika wanted to maximize every ounce of his potential.

Even if he Advanced, his daily life wouldn't change significantly.

Everything would remain the same.

"But I have a feeling that moment is fast approaching."

"I'll soon reach my limit and Advance."

Mika smiled at Airmid and Mellie.

"But before that, let's enjoy our travels!"
