The information made me think very critically. Both due to the will and the strength granted and also the gods themselves.

What was different about the Infant god and the Adolescent god? Pondering it for a while gave me no answers. Even the system kept silent.

'Obviously wants me to learn this on my own. Seems like the player can't depend on the system's advice for this phase.'

As much as I wanted to create the adolescent I was stumped by two things. One was the need to have immediate help and the second was the rewarded stats.

I didn't doubt that the stats would be important but not having seen any character sheet left me in the dark. The devs wanted us to go in blind.

I hissed in annoyance before focusing on the two options I had again. The rest were locked anyway.

After a bit of consideration, I mentally clicked the create.

A piece of something, 'Divinity' flowed out of my body like a stream of gold and condensed before me. Then a new prompt appeared.

[Would you like to choose an NPC soul or a Player soul]

At that moment a lot of things made sense and a lot of feelings rose in me.

'So we're like the alpha testers or even more the AIs of this world. Creating and setting everything for the incoming players and also putting the NPCs in.' I surmised with a grin on my face. The others must have already realized this by now. I needed to hurry up.

There was bound to be some sort of competition as I doubted being Creator players would be any easy.

'NPC soul.'

As much as getting a player soul would have been convenient having an NPC that wouldn't betray me would be wiser. Atleast that's the argument I had in my mind.

I watched as a little sliver of a spark separated from me and melded into the divinity that was condensed into an amorphous shape. The golden divinity shone brightly as it began rotating. Next another substance rolled off me and blended in the mix.

[Creator 79 is advised to create or choose a template for your administrator]

'Hmmmh. Like a body?' I thought a new section popped up showing the administrator template.

Entering Local I first checked through it.

[Dragon]

[Elf]

[Dwarf]

[Phoenix]

[Human]

[Administrators - 0/5]

The last line made me ponder if I could only have five administrators or if I could only have five administrators with the local templates. Unsure I frowned but overlooked it. I had no desire to use any of the listed options.

I exited and went to the foreign templates only to see that there were only three options. The first was a weird-looking Eldritch creature which I waved away instantly. Not before noting the owner etched below the template, Creator 43.

Ugly was a no-no. Cute was a yes.

The second had me frowning. It was a twelve-winged angel with eyes all over its wings.

I was already allergic and paranoid about the word which meant a no to angels. Made by Creator 24. The last one though had me almost choking. It looked like a mix between an Elf and a Cyclops. Just a single large eye in between its head. Creator 51 didn't even try.

'Really' I sighed. That was a no to the foreign templates then. But I was certain it wasn't only these players that had to have made templates. Either the others were slow which was unlikely, they had gone for the easy part of selecting the local races due to the time or maybe...

'They're hiding their powerful templates.'. It made sense. Why show all your cards especially when it wasn't certain what trouble the devs would throw our way?

'Smart. Good thing I thought of it.'

The timer glowed a bit like a warning catching my attention as it floated above the gestating god.

[00:00:27:56]

'No time. No time. What to create.

Navigating into the Custom Template for administrators I mentally clicked on create.

A panel appeared and showed a list of things with a hologram rotating around like something from an Iron Man movie. It depicted a baby shape with no discernable features.

First was the features. Giving the body a black skin tone, and the hair turned white. Back in the day, I'd always had this thing for black boys. No way I was passing up crafting my dream man. 'Eh baby'.

The eyes were silver almost blending with white. Three little silver horns grew out of its head looking more like stumps. Two to the sides and one on its forehead. Two pointed pairs of ears, one above the other.

The skin was a biological liquid metal. Ever reacting, ever swimming. As long as there was a piece of it then there would always be a him. A hole formed in the chest with a blob of burning red matter within it.

"I wanted it to be a star but there's none. Would have been cool." I confessed while wishing for a star.

I figured out what Will was at that very moment. A tiny piece of me condensed out and formed a little shiny matter. I didn't even need to use identity skills to know what it was. Didn't have an identify anyway.

"Okay. So Will is my intent or desire made true". I muttered as I stared at the little flickering star.

I completed the rest of the template. Adding various points to the listed stats.

There was Physicality which covered constitution, stamina and endurance. Mobility which was speed, agility, dexterity, and reflex. Focus covered Mind, imagination, intelligence and wisdom, Might covered my power and strength together while Abstract was my Will and Intent. I quickly realized that administrators had a Total of 100 points to be allocated to each stat.

Decisively I began.

'Might is meaningless for it now so ten to it.... So ten to it. Mobility would be good for escaping but I doubt that's gonna work now, in the long run, it's gonna be important so fifteen is yours. I don't know what could be dangerous but I don't trust the devs so thirty to Physicality and that's only because the other stats are important. Twenty to Focus and twenty-five to Abstract..'

The stats aligned themselves before my eyes then a new option appeared. Yet I focused on the little addition to the Abstract. Not understanding I could only tweak it a bit. After watching for a bit I understood.

Will gets a 2% bonus from the mind stat. 'Must be due to getting projected by thoughts or something.

The next was racial types.

[Primordial Beast]

This user is the first of their kind in a given Universe. Undefeatable and bearing the Primal essence of the Hunt. Has lived during or before creation.

[Primordial Deity]

Is a Primordial Being existing during or before creation.

[Primordial Demon]

Is the First Demonic entity to exist in a universe during or before creation.

[Primordial Dragon]

Progenitor of the dragon race. Ancient beast of pride and wrath. The Elder Dragon has lived during and before Creation.

[Primordial Giant]

First entities of their race. Giant Lords and Supreme.

[Primordial Magi]

A very magical being that rules, teaches, learns, studies and exists all with magic.

[Primordial Spirit]

A very Spiritual Entity that exists during or before creation.

I didn't even hesitate as I looked through all the racial types described by the system. 'I don't know what it would do with Primordial spirit for now. Magi sounds cool but I don't think I'm there yet. Honestly, I'm tempted to just pick up Primordial deity but, nah. Primordial Dragon and Beast are just too cliche.

My attention was set up on the final choice. 'But this one. Now that's something I am interested in seeing how it goes. Primordial Giant'. I uttered the words and willed it to be the choice. There was no reply from it for a while. Then a prompt appeared in front of me.

[The Will -

Creator 79. Your administrator racial types added with the body type are over the normal potential jurisdiction. If you wish to continue with this racial type then your Administrator will be readjusted suitably]

[Y/N]

The game hadn't even begun and I was already getting nerfed. After a few seconds of indecision, I sighed nibbled on my bottom lip, and clicked yes.

The message vanished as a new panel appeared asking for the race name. I thought deeply about this. The race name should incorporate the very essence of what this being was.

"Haif'jin" I chuckled. I couldn't help it the name was something that just stuck.

A ding resounded as a new prompt appeared before me. L

[Template complete]

The template showcased everything as it hovered before me.

[RACE - HAIF'JIN ]

Beings that walk the sun, the earth, the void and all of the cosmos. Hearts of Primordial and aetheric origins capable of suctioning and absorbing large amounts of Primordial energies. Their skin made of liquid metal offers an uncanny resistance unlike nothing yet known. They have higher Physicality and Abstract. While not as mobile or focused they make up for this with their Might and Essence.

[RACIAL TYPE - Primordial Giant]

[RACIAL ABILITY - Transcendent Giant Physique]

User is an immense creature, a giant of godlike scale embodying the aspects of the cosmos and (when created) nature.

[Skill - Giant Divinity -0%]

Giamts possess divine powers granting them an immense amount of raw power beyond the mundane and the supernatural.

[Skill - Psionic Godhood - 0%]

While a Primordial Gaint's focus is low, its Abstract proves to be a much greater force. Giants utilize the Abstract to weave and rewrite reality as they deem fit.

[RACIAL ABILITY - ULTIMATE FORCE MANIPULATION]

Primordial Giants possess the ultimate forces of extreme and limitless power derived from their very essence of ultimate power. They wield this incomprehensible might as they stand as conduits of unparalleled power, commanding forces that transcend the boundaries of possibility. These ultimate forces, boundless and unfathomable, surge through their being, granting them dominion over the very fabric of reality.

[Skill - Ultimate Elemental Manipulation - 0%]

No element which resides as part of nature, reality or existence is beneath a giant's purview and control. Capable of manipulating elements of primordial and even transcendent nature.

[Would you like to publish this template in the System]

[Y/N]

I instantly clicked the no. I was keeping this to myself. A second prompt appeared.

[Would you like to apply this new race to your Administrator]

[Changes across levelling will apply]

[Y/N]

Tapping yes without hesitation I watched as the template vanished and the condensed orb of a gestating god trembled.

[Name your Administrator]

'A name's. I didn't know why I was putting much importance to things like names but I didn't mind. I was enjoying things so far. I sieved several names through my mind. Most of them were bland while the others were a bit encouraging. Yet none seemed to be something I was interested in. Lost in my contemplation I failed to realize that the Gestating Period had come to an end.

The condensed orb of divinity shattered spreading out its little fragments into the nothingness surrounding me. These specks floated off before hanging around in the nothingness as shimmers.

In the spot where the orb had shattered a little form floated. A very cute-looking baby. Its thumb rested in its mouth as it suckled, its eyes closed in sleep. Its expression was soft and if not for the metallic sheen of its flesh, the stubs visible on its skull and the very unusual haze of tiny light around it, I would have thought it was a true baby.

None of that did anything to stop the smile that lit up on my face as I watched it.

"Is this what Mother felt when Dester was born?". The baby looked so real that it was hard for me not to get attached. It felt warm. A sense of desire to protect surged through me.

His body exuded that luminous light in such a volume that even his dark skin tone couldn't dim it. And his hair a tuff of white made me smile softly. His chest glowed a bright reddish, gold and white.

"Haero" the name slipped out of my tongue. Where I heard it from I didn't know but I knew instantly it was perfect.

That was the moment disaster struck. The Will had not forgotten me and my baby. A loud clap made me jump, and a streak and flash of brightness from beyond my universe appeared. A flash of lightning tore its way through the boundary of my Aether from outside.

The bolt huge and red flew true aiming straight for my son.

Eyes wide I leapt forward grabbing at the baby who still slept and turned to shield him from harm.

But I was Ethereal.

A shriek pierced the nothingness as the bolt struck my boy. Eyes wide I watched unable to do shit as he flailed from the surge of currents that tore through him. He wailed loud and painfully. Shaken my eyes roved his body for any harm when I found it. Right where his chest glowed an ethereal symbol appeared. A large mark of a padlock etched in runic illustrations over his heart. Over his heart.

I knew without checking his status again what The Will had done.

'The goddamned devs had locked his ability to absorb the Primordial Chaos'.
