In a dark room, two men were sitting on couches parallel to each other in front of a large screen that covered the entire wall, it was the only source of light.
On the screen, Virgil could be seen effortlessly destroying a very large asteroid in space.
With a sudden click of a button, the screen flashed and another scene appeared.
This time it was an interview, a young woman in professional attire was asking a suited-up Virgil some questions on a sidewalk as some pedestrians screamed his name.
"Prime, this past year we've seen you solve so many cases and threats in our country and around the world that you've surpassed most of the veterans in the field. How do you feel about that?"
The reporter asked with an easy-going smile.
"I'm just glad that I'm able to use my various gifts to help those in need and I'm happy that my efforts are being recognized."
He replied with a charming smile that made the reporter stare at him for a while.
"We are happy to hear that. What do you have to say about the people who are calling you the second coming of Omni-man? Do you think it's true or it's just an exaggeration?"
She questioned in a curious tone.
"Everyone is entitled to his/her opinions but for me in particular, I have no comment."
Virgil replied with a smile.
"So wh--"
With another click, the screen went off, and then the lights in the room activated, brightly illuminating the furbished room that has Cecil and another balding serious-faced middle-aged man in a black suit facing each other.
The other man was the President of the United States of America.
The sides of the wall slid together and covered the screen, replacing it with the painting of the American bald Eagle.
The room was painted white with the American flag on stands placed at the four corners of the room.
A black wooden office table sat at the back of the room with a similar chair in front of it, the entire floor was wine carpeted.
"Tell me, Cecil, in your honest opinion between Prime and Omni-man who is the bigger threat?"
The President asked seriously, his voice stern and deep.
Cecil frowned as he contemplated for a while and answered.
"To be honest, I'll say Prime is the bigger threat."
The President's eyebrows rose up in surprise.
Omni-man was globally recognized as the strongest hero or person so he was a little bit skeptical but he knew the answer wouldn't be without merits since from what they'd been observing, Prime was definitely his match.
"What makes you say that?"
"First of all, we don't know the full capabilities of Prime. He has shown multiple abilities that individually, can cause a significant amount of damage but we don't know his limit.
For Omni-man, we know everything about his powers. We don't know his limit though but from years of observing him, we have a rough estimate of it."
Cecil explained and paused, letting the information sink in, and continued.
"Secondly, his IQ. Prime is a very smart and intelligent man, from the minimum we've seen it wouldn't be a stretch to compare him to some of our most brilliant minds like Robot.
He has pieces of technology that can be very damaging in the wrong hands like his AI and Nanobots, and as like said earlier we don't know the extent of his technology.
On top of that, he has a dubious sense of morality. He has no problems with killing or causing permanent damage to someone so we can't play the 'hero justice game with him.
Most of his decisions are based on cold logic so playing with his emotions is out of the picture.
The most dangerous thing about him is that we don't have anything to use against him. At least Omni-man has a family but Prime has no real sense of attachment to this place.
Now, he's in a relationship with War Woman but I doubt we can use that against him at least that's what my gut tells me.
He finished in a serious tone.
The President's eyebrows furrowed as he sank into his thoughts, making the room silent as Cecil just sat there and waited for him.
From what Cecil said, he could now see that Prime is a very dangerous variable especially when it comes to the fact that they have nothing they can use to control him in the worst-case scenario.
Even his contract with the Global Defense Agency was shaky because in the past year, using his alter ego he created an investment firm that is now a multi-million company in just a year of its establishment.
Meaning, the little control they had on him was now nonexistent.
The fact that beings like Omni-man and Prime exist out of his or the country's control was like an itch he couldn't scratch, very uncomfortable.
"So what plans do you and your experts have regarding him?"
He broke out of his thoughts and asked in a serious tone.
"We planned on trying to obtain some of his DNA samples but we've thrown that idea away, the last thing we want right now is to antagonize him. The only thing we can hope for is that with time like Martian and Omni-man he gets attached to this planet, and I'm sure that won't be a problem for much longer because of his personal relations with War Woman. So for now, we just observe and hope for the best."
Cecil shrugged nonchalantly but his tone showed that he wasn't the least bit comfortable about it.
The President sighed helplessly.
"I hope you are right Cecil, I hope you are."

[▪︎Grayson Household, Chicago▪︎]
At night, in the bedroom of a modern two-story house located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, Omni-man, or Nolan Grayson was lying on his bed facing the ceiling with a dark frown on his face.
Lately, he has been thinking about his mission on Earth. He knew he got sidetracked when he came here but that was because of the new experiences and the fact that there was no one here who can oppose him, after all, despite all the irregularities on the planet it was still relatively easy to conquer.
After he gave birth to Mark, he planned on waiting for him to grow and develop his powers so that he can have an extra hand but now he was reconsidering.
Now, something dangerous and unknown had entered the equation. Virgil or Prime was an unknown threat in his plans.
He believed that he can beat him one on one if he went all out but killing or apprehending him was the issue.
Prime could just escape somewhere to lick his wounds and come back later to obstruct the Empire and he couldn't allow that to happen.
Hmm, he could try to convince him to help the Empire with the promise of ruling the planet in service of it but would he?
He didn't know him very well but from their various interactions, he observed that Prime had the visage and pride of a monarch so the chance of him 'bending the knee' to the Empire was very low.
'Do I have to call for backup?...No, that s not acceptable for a senior agent like me. Hmm, Mark is still an option but his powers are still not in and I've wasted too much time already.
Sigh, I guess I'll make do with what I have and start his training. Hopefully, his powers will awaken because of it. If he gets in my way, he will fall like the rest of them...after all, Viltrumites always prevail.'
"Honey, come closer."
Debbie purred softly, pulling him out of his thoughts as she used her ass to rub on him.
He shook his head with a smile and spooned her tightly, breathing in her sweet scent as he relaxed.
Just a little more time and he will mission will be complete.
