And so, the assault team commenced its operations in this raid. Emboldened by the presence of both the Symbol of Peace and a young hero with the strength to match him.

Although many still had some reservations about Beru, after all, he wasn't exactly acting seriously at all, even All Might was taking things seriously...

It made the pro heroes think that Beru was still 'fresh' strength didn't matter if one lacked seriosity. A lack of curiosity could lead to a lack of decisiveness, and that could prove deadly for those Beru would need to save.

But these same reservations weren't held by those that had personally witnessed Beru fight in the past.

They didn't find Beru's general lack of seriousness to be a problem, they knew that during a fight, there was nothing anyone could do against the insectoid.

All Might and the teachers of UA knew that best they would all rather fight the entire liberation army by themselves than have to fight a villain version of Beru.

And they weren't the only ones that had seen Beru in action. Many heroes were present and watched as the insectoid burned a hundred clones alive into a pit.

It was a graphic scene, and it gave them a strange feeling at first, but it also made them realise just how powerful Beru was. Hearing it from others and seeing it on a screen simply couldn't compare to the real thing.

It was the same effect that All Might had on students when they saw his strength. Everyone knows that All Might can change the weather with his fists, but they still get surprised when he performs feats of strength directly in front of them.

So, the team was mostly set. They advanced towards Deika city at a good pace, they were all rushing through the forests, using different means and utilizing their quirks in different ways.

Aizawa and Midnight were just riding in Beru's shoulders though. Eraser had a really annoyed look on his face while Midnight looked embarrassed.

It was to ensure that they would be able to keep their positions in case of an ambush, both of their quirks were basically essential to the operation itself.

All Might was at the very front of that group. Mirko was right behind him.

When they reached Deika City, they were quickly greeted by an alarm, much like they were expecting to.

After all, their entire purpose was to make as much noise as possible and distract the main force of the army.

The second the alarm sounded in their ears, the heroes in the back seemed to gulp a bit. This was a stressful situation, but they weren't about to cower there.

"Trap 100 meters ahead Mighty~" Beru's loud voice reminded everyone that they had surveillance on the area, they weren't going to be ambushed...

All Might acted accordingly, although hearing Beru call him 'Mighty' made him raise his eyebrows in exasperation.

"...SMASH!" The raid was started off with an explosive entrance. All Might punching the ground and blowing the traps from in front of him away, along with the entire street and a few buildings.

Thankfully, there weren't any civilians present in Deika Town, all of them had left. Leaving only the soldiers of the Meta Liberation Army to protect it.

The heroes quickly started rushing into the city... Then it happened, countless villains started appearing from street corners and rushing the heroes.

"Lacquered Chain Prison!" The heroes quickly started fighting, the first one to move was already using his special move.

Kamui Woods extended his arms as branches started growing out of them and entangling as many villains as possible.

But the villains were too many, their wills were also not a joke, they were more than willing to jump on the heads of their comrades in order to rush the hero.

Thankfully, Kamui wasn't alone. Dozens of heroes intercepted the hundreds of villains and a huge brawl broke out.

"Mount Lady! Now!" One hero shouted after punching a villain through his guard and breaking his arm.

Then, Mt. Lady sprung into action. She quickly rose to her full size and proceeded to jump into the middle of the crowd of villains. Her flashy move was done with a smile, the shockwave of her landing blew away many of the villains nearby.

But it didn't blow away nearly enough of them. They quickly started trying to crawl up her, it looked like a swarm of ants trying to dwarf an elephant.

But they weren't exactly harmless.

The brawl was a brutal one for both sides. Many heroes were being injured constantly, thankfully, the hero side had the ultimate card to control the fight.

Beru, more specifically, his warp quirk. That coupled with his ability to basically slow downtime in his mind... Well, he was observing all of the battles at once and making sure that no hero got seriously injured.

Every time a bullet got a bit too close to the head of a hero, he would create a screen in between that person and the attack.

"SMASH!!!" Dozens of villains were blown away by the pressure of All Might's fists, he didn't actually hit anyone directly, that would most certainly be fatal, no he was using wind pressure to knock out the fighters that approached him.

During that whole slugfest, the clones had yet to appear... But when they did, it was noticeable.

Countless gouts of blue fire seemed to rain down on top of a group of heroes that had been circled by the soldiers of the Meta Liberation Army.

Time seemed to move in slow motion as one of them looked up to see a sky of blue flames.

But such an attack would obviously not go over well with Beru still around.

The insectoid analysed the situation with interest, he was in no hurry, the flames were basically standing still in his perspective.

After a while, he decided that warping that much fire away was simply not practical, using a water quirk would both create mist and likely flood the street.

So, the only option he could use... Wind.

His hand moved at speeds that vastly surpassed the speed of sound. His forearm became an inflated balloon as he released a powerful stream of air in the direction of the flames.

It was a half-power Air Cannon, but it was released by Beru.

The air pressure blew away all of the flames in an instant, there was simply no contest to be had in that aspect.

"BERU! DEAL WITH THE CLONES!" Mirko was also fighting with her all, but she didn't lose control of her team, she was constantly checking on the way things were progressing.

"Sure~," Beru said with a relaxed voice as he looked at the rooftops. The clones with ranged quirks were all perked up on buildings everywhere across the fight.

The ones that had just released their flames seemed to be confused, but that only lasted one second. As Beru took to a higher vantage point and activated High Spec once more...

But this time, he activated yet another quirk, his red bug eyes seemed to gain an unnatural shine to them. The second his gaze met one of the clones...  That clone burst into a viscous liquid.

Erasure was the perfect weapon against the clones, they were made by a quirk after all... It wasn't hard for Beru to kindly ask Aizawa for a strand of hair.

All he got was a weird look and a need to negate having odd fetishes.

It was certainly a decent trade-off to being able to technically turn off all quirks (with the exception of mutants, but c'mon now, we're cherry-picking here).

And so, with High Spec active, in less than a second, Beru had scanned the entire crowd that the heroes were fighting, as well as all of the ones perched up on rooftops.

The site was quickly filled with viscous liquid. It was clear that they had mixed in clones with the regular fighters.

Beru just sighed when seeing that. They had barely started, but they had already attracted 5000 of the army.

From his vantage point, he could also see the rest of the army was starting to make its way towards them.

'I should probably look for the Nomus...' Was the thought on his mind.

There was no doubt in his mind that the heroes were able to handle themselves. All Might being there gave him some peace of mind.

But there was also another objective that he had... 'That cloning quirk... I guess I'll get that too.'
