Prep work
Seeing this level of difficulty for that last objective I knew I needed to make some improvements in short order. First I used the two exp tickets I had just gotten on Hades the moment we were far enough away from anyone else. While I would have liked to spend the time necessary to bring it up to par I had a lack of time until we reached Lilycove city that according to the leader of the poachers was a hub for illegal trading thanks to team Aqua running the place.-
These two tickets went to good use though as Hades level went from seventy three to ninety five as it's lacking battle experience got filled in. In terms of power Hades was already at elite level but had only lacked the experience that a normal elite pokemon would have. Thanks to these tickets it had just gotten two whole weeks of control and use experience with that power and so it's level jumped to synchronize with it's power much more. It had also learned three more moves, Nasty plot, Grudge and Shadow sneak. I didn't just stop there though but also used my new ability ticket which like always summoned the rainbow colored wheel that spun for about a minute.-
When it finally stopped though I was not happy with the outcome at all as RNJESUS had forsaken me and I got {Improved Digestion V1}. Pain from my insides literally rearranging themselves to accommodate this new ability washed over me but I only grunted and grit my teeth. I checked what the new ability did and was not surprised to find that it was literally just an improvement on my ability to consume things. A good way to explain it was that it was a bit like a mutation to allow me to safely consume things that would normally kill you to do so.-
For a normal alchemist it would be a godsend ability since you would need to consume your potions to test them if they were meant for humans and this ability would let you survive anything that would normally be only slightly lethal to consume. For me though I had the system and could understand what effect my potions had without needing to test them first. I could only just choose to ignore the ability at this point and call it a loss.-
I had other things I needed to work on since Lilycove was only a week away and I REALLY wanted that evolution token. With only one token to my name I needed to be very particular about how I used it but if I could get a second one I could be more reckless about it and choose an option that interested me. In this particular case I wanted to evolve my aura or lifeforce qualitatively forward. While my aura changed with each new metaphysical ability I got it was not qualitatively different from anyone elses yet as I didn't have the quantity of abilities it would take to achieve that yet.-
When I said metaphysical I was referring to things like Healing , Emotion suppression and Boost that were more than my body alone. These things functioned on a sort of conceptual basis that used my aura as fuel and by extension "refined" it the more I had. I was sure that at some point my aura would transform qualitatively so long as I got more of these types of abilities but by using an evolution token I could skip that process entirely.-
I was really interested in knowing exactly what a higher form of aura was as nowhere in my skill was there any information on it which meant none had ever encountered it before. Speaking of my skills I learned an interesting thing about them thanks to the refinement my spearhead underwent. Due to the circumstances surrounding the thing being unique and thus not in the related skills the more I learned about the spearheads abilities and properties the more information got added to my skills. In other words my skills that I had assumed were the be all end all of information could grow if I learned something totally new.-
At first glance this didn't seem all that important but it held extreme significance as it meant that I had a path towards being the best with each and every skill I had. I not only could fully master and utilize the skills knowledge but could go beyond any person in history by adding new stuff to it as well. At the moment my aura and metalworking skills were at adept and journeyman respectively but now contained my added knowledge as a sort of addendum. Admittedly I had been ignoring all of my skills besides cooking , alchemy and aura for a while now though so the low level of mastery was to be expected.-
Anyways the rest of my preparations included crafting various knockout gasses and sharpening my teams stealth and capture skills. The wild pokemon were not happy about that part of the preparations. As was no surprised Hades was an absolute talent when it came to these things as it's smoky body could turn into extremely thin tendrils that were damn near impossible to spot. Add on Shadow sneak to hide the keystone which was the only truly solid part of it's body and the ghost was a menace.-
Out of all of my pokemon Hades alone had a one hundred percent flawless capture rate no matter the target. In close second was Rune surprisingly as his electricity could apparently be used to near silently paralyze and knock out anything with nerves by flooding an area with energy charged air. In a way it was a much weaker but much more stealthy version of thunder wave that covered a small area indiscriminately. Vulcan and Gaia sucked at stealth though for obvious reasons in both of their cases.-
For Vulcan it was simply too large and bright to miss not to mention how hard to ignore fire was. For Gaia though she was simply too damn big to even attempt stealth unless she was trying to pass for a hill. Yani was pretty good at stealth when she wanted to be but capture was where she excelled. Using rope and vines she could bind anything like a master after she learned various types of knots. Once she figured out how to run at her full speed without making a sound she was practically a ninja as she was nearly impossible to notice before it was too late.-
A week was barely enough time to get a very rough idea of how we were going to pull this off but one thing that was for certain was that we couldn't enter Lilycove through the front gate. My face and my pokemon were too well known for that as I was certain team Aqua had lookout for any problematic people entering the city and I definitely fit the bill. Thankfully Lilycove was a ocean side city and as a result was mostly unprotected from the harbor which was also where team aqua had their base as well.
